Hon. Amadou Ben Hamadou quits ACFTU for MRC

Amadou-Ben Hamadou Bappa, Secretary General of the National Front for the liberation of Cameroon (ACFTU), a movement created by Issa Bakary Tchiroma current Minister of Communication with a political alliance with the Presidential Majority announced his resignation from the ACFTU on Monday and also revealed he was joining the Movement for the Revival of Cameroon (MRC) of Prof. Maurice Kamto, an opposition party, which ever since its creation has generated excitement and sympathy from the Cameroonian people.

In his resignation statement issued to the local and international media, the former Secretary General of the ACFTU, said he was happy to join the great movement of hope.

The Nordist politician added that the history of Cameroon is fast changing and the dynamics of the transformation of our political society and citizens, and of course, the political press, were entitled to be part of the mobility. The ageing political guru noted that since 2012, the Movement for the Revival of Cameroon, the MRC is the concrete and consistent translation of the new dynamic and even the hope of the Cameroonian society.

Amadou Ben Hamadou's resignation was no surprise to observers of the Cameroonian political scene as a tense political climate had been reported between Tchiroma and some of his relatives.

The departure of Ben Hamadou Amadou Bappa- a politician with over 57 years experience will certainly undermine the ACFTU and its leader, Minister Issa Tchiroma.
