Cameroon is sick of its democracy…- Maurice Kamto

Professor Maurice Kamto, figurehead of the European tour of the Movement for the Rebirth of Cameroon (MRC), was on Diaf-tv. Professor of Law and former Minister Delegate to the Minister of Justice answered the questions of Aline Pierre Giscard in an interview this week.

- He denounced the worsening of the risk of the country, and said his worry is about the informal economy that is left to grow uncontrollably, rather than structured.

- He does not understand the deaf ears given to the demands of English brothers and makes an important point in the MRC project for Cameroon.

- He regrets the lack of national leading companies as Nigerian Dangote group gets into Cameroon.

- He denounced the ICC and underlines its serious error of assessment in the case of Omar El-Bashir and the proposal of the AU, and is surprised that Cameroonians spoke of leaving the (ICC) which has never ratified its laws.

- He criticizes the idea / scam called Cameroon regional balance. Campaigning for establishment of a national language in Cameroon which is taught throughout the country.

- He denounces the inconsistencies that occur at ELECAM to oversee the elections in Cameroon.

- He criticizes the Operation Sparrowhawk that is also for him, an instrument whose perception among all Cameroonians is seriously mixed.

- He denounces the lack of consideration of a category of Cameroonians based outside the country, or in possession of another nationality.
