CPDM Dignitaries join the SDF in celebrating its 25th anniversary

The Bamenda branch of the Social democratic front invited the president of the Republic, Paul Biya, to ceremonies marking its 25th anniversary.

But the head of the State of Cameroon sent the general Secretary of the central Committee of his party - CPDM - Jean Nkuete to Bamenda. In the company of several other members of the ruling party, he attended Tuesday, the great ceremony of the quarter century of the main opposition party at Commercial avenue, in Bamenda. However, the CPDM officials did not received a warm welcome.

They faced the indifference of their guests who did not want to comment on their presence. The SDF frames swayed them away from shame and humiliation.

They managed to contain the wrath of activists, unhappy to see their 'enemies' home. The SDF officials regularly intervened with their comrades whenever they tried to boo Jean Nkuété and his sequel.

The relationship between the SDF and the CPDM were often considered suspicious by many Cameroonians.

Before his great rival, the leader of the Cameroonian opposition party calmed and strengthened the democratic spirit.

Critics of the SDF for example had to accuse its leader Ni John Fru Ndi to have receive money from the state. An observer, in a comparative analysis, noted that the SDF and the CPDM are similar on many points.
