Aminatou Ahidjo to replace Yao Aissatou at NIC?

Aminatou Ahidjo Aminatou Ahidjo

She has been repeatedly tipped online to be of influence in the reshuffled government of October 2, 2015 by President Paul Biya. After the publication of the new government of Prime Minister Philemon Yang, the name of Aminatou Ahidjo, youngest daughter of the first president of the Republic of Cameroon, El Hadj Ahmadou Ahidjo Babatoura, was not mentioned for any ministerial position.

The latest activist of the CPDM in the last municipal and legislative elections in 2013 will have to wait for her moment of glory. Until when ?

Not for a long time ! According to indiscretions borne from sources, Aminatou Ahidjo could be given the sought after post of Director General of the National Investment Corporation (NIC) replacing Aissatou Yao, incumbent leader since 2002.

The national president of the women's organization of the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (WCPDM), is no longer in the good books of the tenant of the rectangular 3rd floor office in the Unity Palace in Etoudi, Yaounde. And because Paul Biya hardly appreciates the commitment of Yao Aissatou against his mentor Marafa Hamidou Yaya then, former Minister of State, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, who is held in a cell at the main prison in Yaounde 6th and condemned by the Cameroonian justice to 25 years in prison for complicity in embezzlement related to the purchase of an aircraft intended for presidential trips.

A credible source disclosed that it is likely Yao Aissatou would depart after a suspected conversation intercepted between Yao Aissatou and government delegate to the urban community of Garoua El Hadj Ahmadou Bouba, as announced indiscretions.
