Cup of Cameroon: Canon sails, Yong Sport cracks

The round of 32 finals of the cup of Cameroon saw last year’s winners; Yong Sport Academy of Bamenda sent packing by East Regional division two side, Leopards of Bertoua 0-1, while 2013 finalist, Canon of Yaounde snatched a 1-0 victory from Northwest regional division two side, Tatekam of Bamenda at extra time.

It was a day full of surprising results as amateur League sides sent Professional league clubs crashing.

In Bafang, newly promoted Southwest regional division two club edged Ligue two side National Polytech,1-0.

Also, many games where carried forward due to bad weather. Meanwhile, some clubs of the Professional league failed to show up for their games. Clubs like Scorpion of Be, Tiko United and Dynamic all failed to show up.
