Cameroon Concord says "Vote for Joseph Antoine Bell”

If you are a Cameroonian football lover!! Pick up your phone and tell the likes of Senator Mbella Moki that the future of Cameroon football is not with politicians but with successful veteran footballers.

Joseph Antoine Bell has the savoir faire to move Cameroon football forward. Football should create jobs, football should bring development, football should get our younger people out of the streets and bars, football can change a nation!! Bell Joseph is that change that Cameroon needs.

Towards the end of the year 2014 the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT, will hold a general assembly to elect new officials for a mandate of 4 years.

Cameroon football has been known to be ill for some time now and its well being is a source of worry to a majority of Cameroonians, a worry which should be viewed within the context of the place of Football in the Country of the Untamable Lions.

In fact, this football which was once the pride and binding element of the national triangle, has lost its glimmer and our team can now be trashed by any “wet nose” team, a laughing stock!!! Amongst those who are openly disturbed by this rather slow but inexorable descent of our football – since at least two decades now – there is someone.

This person has contributed as a high level player on the football pitches and took part in the writing of the glorious moments of the national team, and before that the team known as Union Sportive of Douala, one of the best and greatest ever football clubs of Cameroon.

This person had pointed out loud and clear, using all shades of tones, that our football was drifting away. This person indicated his readiness to play his part, just as he did while a player, a real untamable lion, and that Cameroon deserved much more. He even tried to do so in 1996, but could not go through.

At this time when even the most virulent of his opponents believe that he should be given a central place in the management of Cameroon’s football, this person, JOSEPH ANTOINE BELL decided not to show off. He could have rightly done so, even by accepting proposals from abroad which could have enabled him to substantially increase his income.

But, no!! as a patriot, Joseph Antoine Bell would once more want to put this expertise at the service of his Country, Cameroon. During these last months, the Head of State himself expressed the wish to straighten out sporting activities in general and football in particular. He even went down to remind what should be common sense and what should be the duties of officials handling the youths in this domain.

As such, this is a forceful proposal brought up by a tactical command force for the renaissance of Cameroon’s football, put in place and headed by Joseph Antoine Bell, to inject a new spirit, a competent and performing management undertaken at the service of Cameroonian youths through football.

This TEAM NEW-DEAL stands for a return to football shall propose to the majority of actors who, despite the agonies of the past decades, with to live their passions and join forces to give to the youths some reasons to have hopes and also bring back our glories of the past. Our team is made up of:

• persons who do not wish to bleed the Lions;

• persons who look upon young players not as goods to be sold in a real slave trade;

• persons who know that a football match is not won outside the stadium;

• persons who understand that a champion cannot be designated before the start of the competition;

• persons who hold that it is not ethical and fair-play for a referee and an adversary to live in the same room before a match.

These persons are real lovers of football. They bleed themselves dry to do away with mediocrity as practiced by the killers of Cameroon’s football. They are the real driving force behind Cameroon Football. They make up a family, but not family in the sense of the Mafia.

This family holds strongly that the management of Cameroon’s football must not necessarily be in the hands of those who call themselves “ the followers of Iya”, given the calamity of their results as sanctioned in concert – for once – by both FIFA and the Cameroon Government; both finally came to an agreement, for the good of Cameroons football, to set up the Normalization Committee.

To all of you who love football, our common cause, you have the onus to complete the good job started by the Government to set up the Normalization Committee.

Join the TEAM NEW-DEAL to come back to football… to give hopes to young footballers.
