Letter from Yaounde to Buea

Dear Mbella,

I am rhapsodized by the fact that you did not shirk your responsibility this time around. You kept me posted on the belligerent attitude of the grabbers. But I was surprised that you maintained sealed lips on the examination outfit’s mess. You people claim that you did not only fight for it but also gave it an Anglo-Saxon character.

Now, may I ask if you agree with what is happening? How can one pass in a subject he or she did not sit in for? Is that what TAC, CAPTAC and CAPSU fought for? By the way, posterity will sentence all those who are maintaining sepulchral silence that remains suspicious in every measure.

Even those of us Anglicans in the great national party are ready to take up arms to defend that institution. That scam cannot be tolerated because it is not the frog exams thing where people can run all sort of shady deals and get away with them. I was happy Ngongi crushed the moral simpleton, the sycophantic and all-knowing legal “nano” in the wrestling match.

After all, it was a fight between fact and fiction and to a measure truth and falsehood if you will. The Lilliputian attempted to use sophistry to massage the egos of the thieving oafs in high places. That was total ignominy that represents ‘langa’ for appointments.

Moreover, Mola, the frogs did not render the Sabbath Day holy. They all hurled vituperative jibes at the God, Lado. The voice of the prelate is the voice of God. Yet the impious argument here has been that the C god is the truth, the way and the light.

That is some gibberish, akin to blasphemy and the practice of the divine right of kings during the rise of the enlightened or benevolent despotism. This explains why a huge chunk of the tax payers’ money enters the coffers of the Inter Continental Hotel in Oyibo Land. More ridiculous was the fact that the Iscariot pen-pushers took sides with the oppressors seeking to justify such recklessness by the ailing Kadiye. His level of narcissism is beyond human understanding.

Yet, motions of support must flow in an exorbitant display of hypocrisy. Nguini said it the other day that those who churn out tons of motions of support do not believe in them. And so the so called People’s Call that was launched in such a noisy brouhaha is a huge truth of falsehood. It gave room to political Iagos to sing the hypocritical doxology in some kind of make-belief loyalty to the king.

Mbella, take it or leave it, the power drunks are in an all grabbing mafia. I know you will be looking for all bookish arguments to gainsay me. But I would want you to explain to me why the Methuselah of the Glass House is also the god of Mada? Why is the man who savours the sinecure post of the sleeping social and economic council also the Igwe of Doukoula?

Even when we are fighting to eliminate Depute-Maire syndrome, it is clear that the greed of accumulative posts will never end. By the way, I did not care to find out how many Haramboko hoodlums were released just to have the corpses of our boys who paid the soldiers debt up there. They were beheaded in a cruel act akin to the ISIS. Well, let mayor Moussa tell the world how he has been eating and even making love with Haramboko in Fotokol. It is a typical l’enemie dans la maison syndrome.

Mola, I pray we stop this hypocrisy! Let the big guns who always call for the release of the terrorists whenever they are arrested, be called up to explain their treachery. If we were not all dancing the hypocritical macabre, the heads of the Judases, Iagos and the Narcisses would have all rolled by now.

The Interpol must work hard if they want to cage the nonexistent Ambassa Zang. The former Ambassa Zang is George Peters, overseas. Mola, spare yourself trouble by not calling that old name because he would call the police. He is a smart one who dribbled the sparrow hawk at Nsimalen and travelled by road through Gabon.

So, don’t kid with George Peters because he is a whole phenomenon. Let me know how much of the epicurean drama land-grabbing nouveaux riches are acting with the pretty damsels out there.

My regards to Enangs. And, please, keep me posted,

Yours sincerely

Ngwa
