Where does Cameroon place on passport ranking?

A new ranking is out to sort passports from worst to best based on how many countries they let you travel to without a visa.

Nigerian Comedian “I Go Dye” tells a classic joke that squares up the strength of the US passport against that of Nigeria at London’s Heathrow airport. Both passports perform quite well except that the scene takes place in his dream.

Some passports are just more powerful than others, allowing holders to travel many more countries without requiring a visa or getting one at the port of entry. And whether it’s just a smooth sail through immigration, the passport in your hand can determine the joy you get out of international travel.

We have our ideas about which passports are worth having. Many immigrants in the United States, for example, consider obtaining the American passport one of the great achievements of the lifetime. But is the American passport the only passport worth investing in? And which are the least attractive.

The passport index, put together Arton Capital, a company that specialises in helping people get multiple citizenships – and of course, multiple passports – ranks the world’s passports.

As you guessed right, Cameroon did not rank quite high. With a ranking of 67, a Cameroonians passport offers visa-free entry to only 48 countries. The US passport, tied at the number one spot with that of the UK, offers visa-free entry to 147 countries.
