Prez Biya and the CPDM: More theft in broad daylight

Evil has a multiplier effect if it continues unchecked. The evil that the Francophone Beti-Ewondo government has brought upon the Cameroonian people is like a snow ball that gathers both momentum and snow as it rolls on.

After 31 years of bad governance, the Biya regime is more than ever before desperate in its quest for political survival-not to keep the Cameroonian thug in power but in search for a successor who will be capable of side lining the anglophones for another 30 to 40 years.

Already as recorded for us by Marafa Hamidou Yaya detained Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization, anglophones and a majority of Grand West voters have largely been refused enrollment on the polling lists by ELECAM in order to give advantage to the Francophone Beti-Ewondo regime.

The Biya new strongman Rene Sadi and the all powerful Martin Belinga Eboutou both men running the show now due to President Biya's ailing health are already implementing the plan of creating many sub divisions in the Center, South and North regions that will subsequently give them many more parliamentary seats than the South West, North West and West regions combine.

It is vital to note that you do not need to drive for 20 minutes from one sub division in the center region to another. This is also true of the South and the Nord regions.

But Mamfe Central and Upper Bayang still continue to share one parliamentary seat since the Upper Bayang sub division was created more then two decades ago encouraging a political divide among the Bayang people in Manyu and greatly welcome in Yaounde.

The last Parliamentary and municipal elections saw a drastic curtailment of registered voters by as much as two-thirds or more in anglophone and Grand West constituencies across the country. As the inner core of the CPDM political bureau started consultation on who to succeed President Biya as party chairman, voters registration figures deep within anglophone Cameroon will again tumble to about one-quarter or less.

The Francophone Beti-Ewondo disenfranchisement practices are many anti anglophone policies going now in the country. Does it not worry anglophones why the Francophone want us to stay in two regions only? What is wrong in having a Far North West region or a Cross River region in today's Manyu division? What is the population density of areas such as Nyo'o et Soo, Mfou vis a vis Akwaya and Kumbo?

The new evil being directed by Martin Belinga with the support and intelligence cover from General Pierre Semengue Retired and Reserved Joint Chief of Staff of the Cameroon army is that as soon as President Biya makes up his mind to step down, the Speaker of the National Assembly will be put under surveillance and ordered to announce a presidential elections which he as speaker will not be a candidate.Consequently, the electoral corps and the exercise of voters registration will automatically work in their favour.

This plan is what is keeping the regime very quiet with no new cabinet and no reorganization of the basic organs of the party since after the last election. The regime has eliminated men like the late Dr. Ateba Eyene who opposed the plan to continue with the Beti-Ewondo hegemony.

The regime's criminal mind is thus established at two levels namely the empowering of the new Biya elite force known as BIR against the united Cameroonian army and the deliberate silence and delay in forming a new government since the last elections.

Why would any government that was confident of itself and of its electoral chances do things that the Biya regime is doing simply because there is no force again in Cameroon that could check it?

Why should powerful men like Engo Desire, Jean Atangana Mebara, Marafa Hamidou Yaya, Edzoa Titus, Chief Inoni Ephraim who have served the nation with dignity and decorum be thrown to the Kondengui prison like common criminals? Why should Justice Ayah Abine not being paid by the state of Cameroon?

Do we as Cameroonians not have the right to know the truth behind the Albatros affair?

Indeed the sins of the CPDM regime are so grievous, so many and so left unchecked that whenever a counter force will emerge whether from the loud sounding nothing diaspora, the result will only be a civil war.

No less. But for how long will the diaspora continue to watch this Biya thievery with impunity continue.
