Cameroon needs a change

Our country is experiencing a critical situation, with inter alia, abductions, the attacks on the border with the CAR and the incursions of armed bands in the extreme north of Cameroon. For the case of the Extreme North, several of our fighters have died on the battle field.

In a respectable country, one would have expected that the President of the Republic, supreme chief of the armed forces, renders a heartfelt tribute in a solemn ceremony. While our country suffers the war against the assailants concealed in "Boko Haram", and that the psychosis, President Paul Biya, from tourism in the west, and then returns quietly as if nothing had happened.

The entry and exit movements of Paul Biya leave skeptical, in the context of the situation of growing insecurity that threatens the stability of the Cameroon. This demonstrated its non-mastery of the subject. In effect, it is of good tone when we declared the war to remain in place to develop strategies, mobilize the troops and follow the evolution of the situation.

He protects and reassured the civilian populations and affirms its support for the armed forces. For 32 years, Cameroonians have suffered several ills due to poor governance and the lack of visibility in the management of the affairs of the republic, a situation which are plunging our country into a chiaroscuro maintained by the authority.

It is conditioning the minds to the misery and we are told: "all is well", that we approach toward a two-digit growth, that the emergence of Cameroon is close even without water, without electricity, without ambulance in the hospitals, etc. Even the famous strategy document for the growth and employment has not changed things

Cameroonians, civil society included, should sit down to find him a point of exit. The future of our country can only be done on the basis of a consensus; therefore, it seems to be imperative that we put together for the establishment of a single strategy, in order to ensure a respectable departure for the President of the Republic.

We will guarantee him a status of former head of State and he will enjoy the benefits of this status just as he will benefit from a judicial immunity.
