Bella Njoh is dead

The author of the famous makossa soundtracks, ‘Mambo Penya’, ‘Belle Mere’ among others died at the age of 65 on Tuesday morning at the Douala Laquintinie Hospital.

It is believed that Njoh was diagnosed with diabetes.

Accounts from his family indicate that his illness started in the night of April 6, 2014, when he decided to retire to his room. Sometime later, he fell ill and was sent to the CEBEC hospital in Bonabéri - Sodiko by his sister, where he received intensive care.

With no improvement in his health ,he was moved to the Catholic Mission Bonabéri , but at that time , the situation became complicated and the artiste was transferred urgently to Laquintinie Hospital where he died in coma.

Bella Njoh was born December 29, 1949 in Douala. He was a widower and a father of two.
