X-Maleya thrill Olympia audience

The Cameroon musical group, X-Maleya has enthralled a close to 2500-audience in a grand musical concert at Olympia in Paris, France.

The concert which opened up with the chanting of the Cameroon national anthem took place on Sunday 14th September, 2014.

The performance was characterised by outstanding choreographies, playbacks, comedy and some Cameroonian traditional dances.

The trio made up of Auguste, Roger and Haïs left the audience spellbound while performing a musical package consisting of Makossa, Pop and Hip-hop music.

Some Cameroonian artists and public figures were also present at the concert to support the talented group, X-Maleya, that did succeed in raising the country’s flag high, while in France.

The group, author of the popular track “Yelele” has released four albums since 1998 with the latest in 2013 entitled “Revolution”.

They are second from Cameroon to perform this year at the prestigious French hall, Olympia, after Manu Dibango in March 2014.
