The strength of a lady is one that surpasses what the earth has ever seen. Over the years and even till date, ladies go through a lot in the quest of self-identification and self-love.

What they do go through can never be perfectly portrayed, ‘because it’s one deep intense battle for survival in a world of objectification and downgrade.

"Night in the Grass" field enacts the struggle of typical Cameroon grass field ladies who carry daily the burden of simply just being born a Woman!

No autonomy, no self-love and especially being objectified by the men in their lives. From the trailer, you get goose bumps from the emotions the actresses convey; their teary eyes, they pity stare and their look of despair.

They do not know what they have done wrong other than to be a woman!

But just like every true lady, they do not sit and wait for things to change as they take matters into their hands and fight for their freedom from the bondage they have been in.
