Toucouleur makes a comeback at ‘Bal des Vétérans’

The weekly ‘Le Bal des Vétérans’, at the Loft Club Bastos in Yaoundé by Bobby Le Cheval Blanc this Sunday, December 21 featured the 90s Makossa star Toucouleur.

Though he has been absent from the scene since 2012 due to illness, Toucouleur made a comeback on stage and gave a commendable performance.

“Two years ago in 2012, I went to play Mvomeka at the home of the President of the Republic. Just when I got back to Douala, three months after I got this disease. I do not know if it's the family or ‘the bad guys’”, he told us in an interview.

Toucouleur revisited three of his hits that shook an entire generation of emotions to the delight of his fans. He also presented his new album which will be released in the coming days.

The ‘Bal des Vétérans’, the event that changes the city’s atmosphere every Sunday will feature Annie Anzouer on Sunday December 28.
