Top moments from Edith Pikwa's ‘Kiss Of Death’ Movie Premiere

Dallas- Texas experienced a Cameroonian movie premiere Dallas- Texas experienced a Cameroonian movie premiere

Last Saturday September 24th, Dallas- Texas experienced a Cameroonian movie premiere like no other!

It was the official launch of the movie "Kiss Of Death" by one of our favorite actresses from Cameroon, Edith Pikwa.

Edith Pikwa who is the brain behind this powerful movie mentioned that the movie aims at creating awareness of the ills of forceful early marriages of girls in Africa, and Cameroon in particular.

This movie is a great masterpiece shot in the North West Region of Cameroon precisely in Chomba Village.

It was 6pm Saturday September 24th, the red carpet was ready, and the media was present!

Everyone looked absolutely gorgeous but it was the lady of the night, Edith Pikwa, who had the spotlight on her, in this beautiful dress!!!

The support was amazing as many fellow actors showed up to stand with her in one voice against childhood marriage.

The "Touch of Class" event center was all set and the movie ready for viewing by 7pm.

Another thing that caught our attention, apart from Edith's dress, was the Fruit Display, done by one of our Cameroonian sisters whom you will soon discover in our next feature of #GirlBoss on our inspiration page.

We spoke to some people after the movie screening and we got the same response- This movie is a must watch!

Fund raising with lots of entertainment and dancing followed as funds were raised to support underprivileged girls in Cameroon who were interested in becoming entrepreneurs and filmmakers in future.

As mentioned earlier, this movie aims at raising awareness against the early marriage of the girl child.
