Raissa Mabah Kengne Saly presents collection of poems

A collection of poem by Raissa Mabah Kengne Saly was recently presented to the public in Yaoundé. Speaking of her collection of poems entitled "Je pleure dans mon cœur", she shed tears, to the attentive and appreciative audience, on 6 August in Yaoundé.

This was as a result of the fact that the young author, Raissa Mabah Kengne Saly, student, recalled "a decision never to crying before her parents who did everything for her, and I couldn't bear to see them suffer. So I decided to make them happy one day", she says.

This day was precisely where she presented her collection of 39 poems, which explores with finesse and freshness of spirit,and about the young Cameroonian society.

"Je pleure dans mon cœur" for example denounces homosexuality, patronage and sectarianism. The collection of poems also addresses the theme of love as the expectancy of life, disappointment in love and faith in God.

Before her parents, teachers, classmates and other officials of Raissa Mabah Kengne Saly said she wanted to contribute in her own way to raise youth awareness.
