Passou Ngongang unveils first musical album

New artiste, Passou Ngongang has launched his first album 'Sitcha'a'. The album which consists of 10 tracks has a combination of charm and dreamlike tunes.

According to him the songs were based on the struggles and experience people face in life including him. The song entitled ‘Sitcha’a’ which was sang in ‘balengou’ talks about where the world is heading and how the future generation is plagued with many doubts.

He disclosed that his decision to include the local dialect, ‘balengou’ in his album was influenced on how refined and soothing the language sounds. Passou also added that he fused salsa with Bantu sounds to make the songs sound more pleasant.

In as much as he tries to deny being a celebrity he believes some of the songs which are in English will pave way for international recognition.

The launch which was themed ‘Africa’ saw remarkable performances by Passou, Sanzy Viany, choirs and other experienced musicians. Passou promises his fans to stay tuned for more of his songs.
