Miss Cameroon 2014 final contestants selected

After the nationwide tour to select beauty queens for the 2014 Miss Cameroon contest, beauty queens from 10 Regions who will take part at the final phase were presented at the Yaounde Hilton hotel recently.

The preliminary selection in the various regions in Cameroon started since last February. As usual, two representatives that stand out regionally were selected.

In the case of the Grand Centre, nine contestants were selected since it is made up of three regions: Centre, East and South East all giving three contestants each.

The juries made their selections on the level of bilingualism and self expression before taking into account their dressing, culture and beauty.

On July 25, the contestants will meet in Yaounde for the Grand finale to see who will take over from the 2013 Miss Cameroon, Valérie Ayena.
