Mani Bella wins Best Artiste in Central Africa at 2015 Kunde Awards

Mani Bella has been honoured in Burkina Faso after receiving the Best Artiste in Central Africa prize beating renowned king of music in DR Congo, Fally Ipupa to the award.

The Kunde Awards 2015 held recently in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso with an impressive attendance was a night of bliss, fun and exciting performances.

Mani was among other African artistes including Nigerian’s Yemi Alade who won the award for the ‘Best West African Artiste‘ a.k.a 'Meilleur Artiste de l'Afrique de l'Ouest' and Eddy Kenzo who went away with Best East African Artiste at the ceremony.

The ‘Pala Pala’ song has over 2 million views on YouTube and was arguably the biggest hit song on the Cameroonian music scene. This proves that the Bikutsi genre has surely woken from its deep slumber.

The Cameroonian Lady Gaga shared some photos of her award and with other celebrities present to grace the occasion. Click on 'Photos' to see the ‘Pala Pala’ woman in her elements.
