‘Fakeh’ gets double nomination

It is yet another joy for the entire Main Koncept team and the lead characters: Ifaana Qualar (Fakeh) and Arthur Iyok (George Tansah).

The 20 minutes short film shot in the South West region has gotten another selection into two major award festivals in Africa.


Fakeh, like most trending Cameroonian blockbuster movies, embodies the hate ad torture of every beautiful, young innocent girl in a community where she regrets ever to be born at all.

Sold by his father to his debtor, Fakeh was sold at the age of 11 Pa Ngalla who took her in as the 5th wife.

She went through hell with Pa Ngalla, but when the young doctor; George Tansah, left school and heads back home for the village for a short break, he sucked tears out of Fakeh eyes.

The short tragic 20 drama, kindles the fight for the right of every young girl and women in general.
