Dynastie le Tigre - Stanley Enow: “Unity is strength”

We went on the set filming of Dynastie le Tigre’s ‘Prends soin d’elle’, in collaboration with Stanley Enow (directed in Douala) from his new album, ‘La Loi de la Nature’.

It was a nice time spent with Tigre and King Kong who demonstrated union is important in the arts. They expressed their sentiments on the video and the entertainment industry as a whole.

Culturebene: The filming of the video just ended. What are your opinions and if possible suggestions?

Dynastie: I for my part, I am very pleased that Stanley Enow had devoted his day to the making of the video of this single he earlier agreed to do with me. He did not act like a stranger or guest on set but he was like a ‘brother’. He gave his time, his energy and his heart. I am very enthused and I said to him, “Thank you brother, we are young and together we will go further for the best of our country and Africa”.

Stanley: Well, this is a project; the project of a brother and friend, so I had to bring my elements there because he thought of me. Unity is strength, and for those who know me, I recognize its merits. Dynasty has a great talent, this is not a secret. There is still more room for improvement and he is definitely on the right path. Now, in terms of suggestions, all I have to say is that his team should make it a point to make sure he indulges in basic sporting activities.

Vocally and artistically he is very talented but he must visit the gym often to work on his abs, muscles, etc. That will amuse the fans more when they learn he is staying healthy and fit.

It is very important for his image and the dream to sell more because he is a star. He should be known best beyond his music. I learnt he donated to orphanages and he also launched the sale of his gadgets. It’s best if all these are filmed and subsequently included in his story on YouTube to maintain his fanbase.

Culturebene: Why this collaboration?

Dynastie: Stanley and I struggled for quite some time and today he has become a super star. You know, we cannot yet talk of ‘Showbiz’ in Cameroon. Those who had their head above the waters are those who were able to see beyond Cameroon, beyond the continent, and I take off my hat for Stanley Enow who is now an inspiration.

Stanley is a friend who has hustled hard and I experienced that in the past. Honestly, it feels weird when I'm with him because it was not until that moment that I realized that he was a ‘brother’. In actual fact, we had only two or three hours with him, but he said: "Do not worry; if we have to do it well, then I am available”. I am really proud of him for this humility he displayed. I had a very important meeting scheduled later in the day Yaoundé but we had to do this shoot well. All's well that ends well.

Stanley: That's well said.

Culturebene: How well will this collaboration come out?

Dynastie: This is a bomb; our respective fans will enjoy for sure. Stanley Enow was heavy, and the Tiger Dynasty did not joke either. This is Africa wins.

Stanley: (He interrupts) ... At the same time, I am NUMBER ONE, me (laughs).

Dynastie: Exactly; you are the NUMBER ONE rapper and I am NUMBER ONE in MBOA RnB. In short, once again that union is strength, and I am convinced that everyone will love this track: ‘Prends soin d’elle’. I would even say that they will be obsessed with this sound because we are hard workers. We want to grow the art. We no longer want to be limited to Mvog Ada, Nkoulouloun only. We go very far so musically Cameroon is even stronger.

Stanley: He said everything, my friend TIGER Dynasty. We think ahead. KING KONG Huh!!!
