Charlotte Dipanda, the Cameroon acoustic singer needs no further introduction for lovers of afropop music.

The Cameroon afropop queen was on a live interview on Africa24 this Thursday 8th September prior to her concert at Olympia, scheduled for Saturday 10th September in France presented by Pharempire.

When asked about what she things of the present situation in the African music scene, which is characterised by the fact that artists are popping from every knock and cranny of African countries, presenting different music genres, Dipanda was very positive, stating that diversity is part of our African music culture and Cameroon in particular.

Charlotte was also asked if she intends to change from singing afropop to a different genre of music. Among the answers she gave, Charlotte Dipanda stated that music comes from within, you sing what makes you feel comfortable and inspires/touches your fans.

This goes a long way to show how African music is on a positive rise, artist producing enriching songs to ‘feed souls’.
