19 year old Mouketey Lynette wins Miss Seme Beach

The 7th edition of the Miss Seme Beach 2015 was held on Sunday May 17, 2015 at the Seme Beach Hotel at Limbe in the South West region, with 25 young candidates from across Cameroon contesting for the ultimate crown.

After five hours of presenting their project, having a dialogue with the jury and different segments with the contestants catwalking in swimsuits and evening gowns by Esterella the stylist, the young 19 year old Mouketey Lynette from the south-west and 2nd year student of Political Science at the University of Buea was crowned the winner.

She beat Charlotte Ngo Nyem who became the first runner up and Blessing Obiora as the second runner up.

The Governor of the South West region in person, Bernard Okalia Bilai, presented Miss Lynette Mouketey her sash.

The latter, perfectly bilingual, gained the confidence of the jury and the public who voted via the internet due to her brilliant presentation of her project to promote tourist attractions in Cameroon.

The first runner-up Charlotte Ngo Nyemb a 22 year old Logistics and Transportation student at Institut supérieur du managemen (ISAMA) and the second runner, Blessing Obiora a 19 year old Management student at the University of Buea (UB) will work hand in hand with Miss Seme Beach 2015, Lynette Mouketey for a year to promote the Seme Beach Hotel as well as the projects they presented during the finale.

The Miss Seme Beach 2015 contest was organized by Yann Anoko, son of Senator Seme Noungon. The organizing committee has improved over time and have begun preparation for the next edition.
