'There is no crisis between Canada and Cameroon'

Cameroon-CanadaCameroon-Canada

Two weeks ago, CameroonWeb published an article from the newspaper « L’actualité » entitled: "Cameroonian diplomats in Canada forced to pack their bags".

The author of the article indicated that several diplomatic missions were facing difficulties in Canada following a refusal by the Canadian Government to renew the permits of experienced diplomats that the countries wanted to retain in the Canadian capital.

In a correspondence addressed to the editorial team of CameroonWeb, the High Commissioner of Cameroon to Canada, Anu’a Gheyele Solomon Azoh-Mbi, gave his version of the facts indicating that no new regulatory measure from the Canadian State targets any Cameroonian diplomat stationed in the country.

He also wished to clarify that the relations between the two countries are very well fixed on the extension of the mandates of the Cameroonian diplomats assigned to the country.
