Montreal police ask for help to solve murder of Cameroonian

Eric Saturnin Emeneguene last seen in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve in 2014, body found in Lanaudière region in 2015.

Montreal police are asking for the public’s in solving the 2014 homicide of French citizen Eric Saturnin Emenenguene.

Emenenguene, 32, who is from Cameroon and was on a summer-long visit to Canada, was last seen at his residence in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve July 7, 2014 — one month before he was due to return to France.

In the summer of 2015, a body was discovered in the Lanaudière region.

After testing analysis, it was confirmed that the body belonged to Emenenguene and that his death was of a criminal nature.

Police are calling on the public for any information regarding Emmenenguene’s comings and goings and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance or death.
