Ecobank's arm to market Credit Foncier real estate financing products

Ecobank declared that its Cameroonian subsidiary has entered into an agreement with the Credit foncier du Cameroun (CFC) to collaborate for encouraging access to decent housing.

Ecobank has committed to the sales and distribution of real estate financing products offered by Credit foncier, through the Bankimmo initiative resulting from this agreement.

This initiative needs to inform and service local Cameroonians as well as those of the diaspora and is being carried out to ensure that they can benefit from the real estate financing mechanisms that Credit foncier, Cameroon s housing bank, has created.

The CFC also plans other forms of partnership with other institutions, starting with micro-financial entities to offer its products a wider presence and increase Cameroonians interest in them, both at home and abroad.
