Death at Cameroonian Chancellery in Abidjan

A gruesome discovery was made at the Chancellery of Cameroon in Cocody located at Rivera Golf district in Abidjan yesterday afternoon, sources informed KOACI.

A Cameroonian woman (name withheld) was in urgent need of medical care.

She had visited the Chancellery of her country the previous day for help but to no avail.

Her lifeless body was then discovered at midday in a garage within the Chancellery. As a result of the lack of assistance, she died from her illness.

Contacted by KOACI, representatives of the Cameroonian authorities in Côte d'Ivoire, have not yet commented on the issue.

Dying from lack of health assistance is a persistent reality in Côte d'Ivoire. The country has not implemented a health insurance system for its citizens.
