Cameroonian student murdered in Germany

This expression would simply say: Rest in Peace brother. His name was Donald Brice Takam.

He is now part of the statistics. Dozens of foreign students tragically disappear in Europe every year. The incomprehensible death of the son and the almost passive action of the authorities concerned...

Missing since October 18, the body of Donald Brice Takam was found nine days after by a stream at Bürgerpark in Bremen, Germany. According to preliminary information, police sources speak of a heart attack. Remember that this is the third student who died this year in the same condition in Germany.

Barely eight months ago, it was the case of Anek former footballer who had been found dead by drowning in Berlin and a few years back, the body of a young Gabonese had been found in the "mysterious” stream of the city and the police gave as the reason for the suicide death.

Reached by telephone this morning, three of his comrades do not believe for one moment that it was an accident. Virginia Peh for newly arrived in Germany: "really scared and discouraged me from attending certain circles. "Tito Thierry Mint meanwhile thinks that" it is tragic advantage because the perpetrators are not going to be punished (sob) ... We have been here in Germany for a long time and have not disturb anyone ... ".

Martial K., young Cameroonian teacher in Germany, "I just hope that the German police will do an autopsy. Really, we just end here as dogs like that, it hurts ... ". No police authority in the region could be reached at the time of publication. Similar to the Supervisor of the disco (we will not mention the name for image reasons). Has he really gone? Such questions will find answers to the silence of powerlessness.

Donald Brice, 23, arrived in Germany in May 2011. After the success of his language test (DSH), he began his studies with courage at the Hochschule Bremen. Like any young boy, the weekends are usually the moments of relaxation in nightclubs.

He liked to go have fun in nightclubs and never went out alone, always together. Saturday, October 18 after playing soccer in health day with his teammates, they decided to go to a nightclub to finish the week in style. His cousin who usually accompanies him could not go that day because he had to work early on Sunday morning. Donald then decided to go alone. It was the end, he will never return.

In such circumstances, and thinking of his family to whom he rubbed shoulders with, the only comfort is that the questions are answered without misunderstandings; the responsibilities of perpetrators are identified, if not where to find the courage to face the loss of a child.

A Mass was said for Donald Brice Takam Sunday, October 26th at 10:00 at St Georg Gemeinde to Vorstrasse. That's where almost all of the Cameroonian and African student community wished to be present.
