Three chicken thieves nabbed in Bafoussam

Three men attempted to steal from a poultry farm at Ndiengdam in Bafoussam. Justin Talla (38 years), Jean-Paul Kamdem Tchiotchoua (21 years) and Yaya Oumarou (age 33) were arrested on Wednesday, around 2am as they broke into a poultry farm to steal chicken in one Mr Christophe Zali's farm.

Reports reaching us disclosed that, they had parked a red Toyota Corolla with registration number CG 237 close to the place.

According to the police, when the gang, consisting of four people were embarking on the operation, the two who were stationed at vantage points to guard the other two inside caught the attention of some people, who prompted the vigilance Committee of the area to arrest the head of the gang, Justin Talla. His three accomplices disappeared in thin air.

After an interrogation of the gang leader, Jean-Paul Kamdem Tchiotchoua and Yaya Oumarou were later arrested by gendarmerie brigade of Ndiengdam STS.

The fourth thief, Tony Foka, is still on the run. The Chief Warrant Officer Laurent Zang has urges residents to provide information to arrest the last of the gang.
