Retired civil servant found dead in bedroom

A 66 year-old retired civil servant whose names sources at the Efoulan Police Station in Yaounde refused to disclose, was discovered lifeless in his bedroom at his residence in the Mendong neighbourhood on September 3, 2014.

The Efoulan police told Cameroon Tribune that it was in the early hours of the morning that they received a call from a family member of the deceased announcing the incident. They rushed to the scene to investigate and conveyed the corpse to the mortuary.

Autopsy reports showed that the man died of internal blood hemorrhage although police sources refuse to disclose more information although they quoted the deceased’s family sources as saying that he was healthy the previous day, as such they were shocked to find him dead the next morning.
