Police trace network of false AES-SONEL agents

The police are on the traces of a network of false agents of the company AES-SONEL operating in Douala. With their head, a certain Augustin, they extort money from customers and promise to render them services of the company (Installation of metres, settlement of invoices, recruitment of agents etc.)

After the death of the leader of this movement, one of his victims visited the office at Kumasi for the situation of his son of 15 years, reporting that she had entrusted to this false agent, the sum of 50,000 francs.

The lady however discovered that the working documents (badge and t-shirt of AES-SONEL) which had been manufactured for her child were not genuine. "I am surprised, he told me that he would sponsor my child for 15 years till his integration. But, after two days, he came to tell me that everything went well but that the supervisor requested 50,000 Francs for the costs of folders and gave him the money", explains the victim in tears.

Several other victims of Augustin have been found in the economic capital. Investigations are on going to fish out all members of this network.
