Police arrests father suspected of raping daughter

An individual whose name has not been revealed was arrested yesterday, October 6, at the Hospital of the Sisters of Logpom (Douala III) by elements of the central police station No. 4.

The man came to visit his 13 year old daughter who was admitted in this hospital for a month due to particular abuse. Indeed, the child showed signs of rape and repeated sodomy.

According to police, the incident happened in Kumba, and the child was taken to Douala for care.

At arrival of her father, suspected to have been responsible for raping the girl, the police were informed. "The father denied everything and assigned the status of his daughter to simple night mares. But he was told that these mystical night mares does not leave traces on the body of the victim", says our source.

The alleged rapist was to be presented to the Pj at the time we went in press.
