Notorious drug dealer, motorbike thief arrested

Elements of the 8th District Public Security Police Station, led by Senior Superintendent of Police, Martien Assoua Assoua, have carried out a vast police operation at Pont Blanchisseur in the Madagascar neighborhood in the Douala III municipality.

In all, 11 suspects were arrested, nine of them without any valid National Identity papers, among them a renowned drug dealer by name Cyrille Kemta Sandjo, a notorious motorbike thief, Darling Tchatchouang alias Mirabeau, and Georges Tayou Kepseu alias Djemba, an ex-convict who was caught in possession of a dagger. Tayou tried to run but was captured.

Following instructions from the Littoral Regional Delegate for National Security, Police Commissioner, Raymond Essogo, the three suspects were taken to the Police Station for further investigations.
