Mother cuts penis of her 4-year-old son in Manengole

According to information collected over the phone, Nadège Kouamo, a 33-year-old mother of 4 children, cut the penis of her only son with a razor blade, last Monday.

The drama took place in the locality of Manengole, Department of the Mungo, Littoral region.

According to the police, the young lady, Nadège wanted revenge for the refusal of her companion to marry her.

Her companion was living in Bamenda in the West of the country and to get his attention and revenge, the lady chose to cut the sex organ of her only son, 4 year-old Alexander.

The act was committed at the home of his mother in Manengole. After her heart break, she allegedly cut his man hood before fleeing the scene.

The neighbours heard the cry of small Alexander and ran to his aid. He was taken to the clinic of Manengole and Ndoungue (in the Mungo) hospital, where he was placed under intensive care.

Nadège was arrested by the police in early afternoon of Thursday. The police will convey her to the Prosecutor Monday on the charge of violence and attempted homicide.
