Fake Military Officer Arrested

Bernabe Cadeau Nonga was arrested by police in Douala on November 27 at Stade Cicam. Bernabe was passing for a corporal of the Marine Corps working with the Ministry of Defence in Yaounde.

When the police on routine patrol in the area asked him to present his identification papers, the fake military officer instead showed documents showing that he was a musician. The impostor was taken to the 7th District Public Security Police Station for further inquiries.
