Ernest Mbock Boumsong, missing but on trial

The court notified his indictment during the first hearing on Wednesday to TCS.

It was on Wednesday that the case was heard in the Special Criminal Court (TCS) of the trial of the prosecution case and the State of Cameroon (Cameroon civil aviation authority (CCAA) against Ernest Mbock Boumsong accused of embezzlement.

The fugitive and defendant is accused of embezzling the sum of FCFA 95,268,385 at the CCAA between October 2005 and October 2009. Ernest Mbock Boumsong, Office Manager for Salaries in the company at the time, seems to have used his position to open fictitious accounts.

These accounts allowed him to collect more salaries at a time during the period. The accused is on the run.

The chairman of the board reported the case and notified the indictment against the accused. The hearing was suspended and will resume on July 9.
