Director General of SIC victim of buglary

Some unidentified thugs broke into the office of Gabriel Bengono, the Director General of the Cameroon Real Estate Company, located opposite the T Bella building on Sunday night, Aurore Plus newspaper revealed.

The closest CLC sources claimed that "during the time of theft, the robbers dismantled and removed the hard drive of the Dg's laptop which had sensitive information and overall company accounts.” The money belonging to the secretaries was also stolen.

According to first-hand information, "the burglary occurred after the examination of the accounts of the company on Thursday, under the chairmanship of its Pca, Haman Adji Abdoulaye.” According to the same indiscretions, "the fund management structure that guides Gabriel Bengono was considered unorthodox by the Board of Directors."

The newspaper reported that critics of the successor of Boniface Ngoa Nkou said "this malicious act is a plan to remove the proofs global accounts the company which will definitively go against Gabriel Bengono.”

This is not the first time that criminals have operated in CLC. In 2014 an amount of FCFA 10 million had been carried away by bandits.
