Armed Robbers Attack Bota-Limbe Parish

Armed robbers invaded the premises of the Holy Trinity Parish Bota on August 9 and 10 and made away with the sum of FCFA 600.000 alongside the communion box.

On leaving, they took the Parish Priest Father Denis Ndang hostage to the New Town Parish to continue operating. Unfortunately for them, all the Priests at the New Town Parish were not around. On leaving, they abandoned Father Denis Ndang in the bush not far from his Parish. A manhunt by the Police led to the nabbing of five of the suspected thieves. They were on their way to Kumba with guns in their possession, but the communion box and only part of the money were recovered.
