A 52-year-old man defiles his 8-year-old daughter

A 52-year-old man is accused of having repeatedly raped and sodomized his 8-year-old girl in the Olembe district.

According to evidences gathered on Wednesday evening by Koaci, everything started in December 2013, when Irene Gwendak, a 38 year old Central African refugee living with her family in the Olembe neighborhood, at a place called école. On that fateful day she went to the central market to buy fresh food which she sells at the Mfoundi market in Yaoundé.

The Bayam-sellam, local name for retailers, left 8 year old daughter and her husband; Gwendak Paul Yvan, 52-year-old. According to the first statements of the gamine, her father abuses her. He defiles and sodomizes her in the absence of her mother, while promising her candy, Christmas gifts and most importantly, asking her not to say anything, threatening death if she exposed him.

From December 2013 to August 2015, in the absence of the mother, the young girl suffered assaults repeated by her progenitor without exposing him. The cat was let out of the bag on August 25, during the birthday of his daughter. Irene decided to wear an underwear that she had bought as a gift to his daughter, "by touching I found that my daughter had lost her hymen with a deeply torn anus", said Irene and she started to scream and call on the neighbours.

When questioned by her mom, the little girl revealed and denounced the sadism of her father who turned her into a woman just at about 6 yrs.

Informed by his neighbours of the discovery of his wife, while he was still at the bar in the district, the husband left the bar and fled. Unreachable on his two phones, the man has not yet been found since August 25, 2015. Irene met with a doctor to provide a medical certificate for her daughter as evidence to the judge.
