36 suspects arrested over rice theft
The theft of rice at the Douala Seaport is on the rise
The Special Police Station at the port laid a special ambush in the night of December 2, 2015 and arrested 36 suspects in connection with the theft of rice. Some of the arrested suspects lacked access badges into the seaport while others did not have National Identity Cards.
Amongst those arrested were two nationals from the Central African Republic and a Chadian. They are still in police custody.
