Watch: Joel Embiid dancing

It seemed almost certain Sixers' fans would have to wait until next season to see a highlight involving both Nerlens Noel and Joel Embiid.

However, the 76ers' faithful received a pleasant surprise at the end of the third quarter in Friday's 97-81 win over the Knicks.

As Marc Zumoff broke down Noel's historic stat line of 23 points, nine rebounds and five steals — the first ever such game for a Sixer rookie — the sixth overall pick in the 2013 draft took a seat next to Embiid, a fellow lottery pick.

While Noel conversed with Henry Sims, Embiid began pulsating his chest, sticking his tongue out and rolling his neck in a manner that could loosely qualify as dancing.

Embiid continued this maneuver for quite some time until being alerted by his teammates he was on the Jumbotron.

Upon realizing this, Embiid hung his head, clearly dissapointed that he had been caught doing something very strange once again.

It is too early to tell whether Embiid is a total weirdo, or a comedic genius. Or if Noel's dominance in the game is a result of significant improvement or the ineptitude of the dumpster fire that is the New York Knicks.

Hopefully, Sixers fans will find out next season when both are on the court together.
