Mimi Pary releases Waka Waka Boy video

Talented music diva, Mimi Pary has brought forth a new single video entitled ‘Waka Waka Boy’ which forms part of her upcoming album.

The video, directed by Mr. Adrenaline, was of a village setting from beginning to the end but had a feel of modern graphics to it.

Waka Waka Boy video features an unfaithful husband who always told his wife ‘she is the sun and the moon’ in his life. But immediately he leaves the house, he goes woman ‘hunting’.

A neighbor informs his wife, played by Mimi, about his escapades. She hurriedly gets to the scene where her husband was flirting with another woman. The man, who couldn’t bear the shame, took to his heels but not after the heartbroken wife showered them with water from a calabash.

Mimi Pary, aside her hardworking nature, has an extraordinary sense of humility which makes her the diva of African music. She is admired by many and her songs get a great deal of audience.

2008 saw the release of her first album, ‘Mon cœur est à toi’ after which she made multiple tours to Europe and won a Tam-Tam Award.

In 2014 she participated in the ‘SOS en Centrafrique’ for her One Afrika song. Mimi Pary also released a new opus that same year. Under Tonsuper Production, the release was a striking mixture of Afro pop, world music and Congolese rumba.

Mimi Pary also has a feature song with the rising star of Cameroonian music, Dynasty Le Tigre called ‘Dady Dady’ which will be released in July.
