AFRIMMA Awards: Vote Cameroonian artists

The AFRIMMA (African Musik Magazine Awards), not to be confused with Afrima (All Africa Music Award), is a ceremony organized by members of the diaspora in the US and reward the best of African music.

For the 3rd edition of the event which will be held on October 15, 2016, in Texas, the organization has unveiled the nominees.

On the side of 237, three Cameroonians are listed for the category “Best Male Central Africa“: Stanley Enow, Magasco and Franko. Franko and Stanley are also nominated in the categories “Song of the year” with “Coller la Petite” and “Video of the year” with “Bounce Remix“.

For the ladies, Charlotte Dipanda, Daphne and Reniss all three are nominated in the category “Best Female Central Africa“. Brenda Derry on her part has been nominated for the award for “Best Dancer“.

Meanwhile Locko is nominated in the category “Best New comer“. Mister Adrenaline represents Cameroon in the category “Best Video Director“.

One can notice the absence of Mr Leo and Maahlox in this list despite the popularity of the latter. Also, the absence of NS Pictures and Dr Nkeng Stephens in the category “Best Video Director” cam be noticed.
