Royal Eagles have completed their biggest signing ahead of the new season by landing Cameroonian goalkeeper Joslain Leon Mayebi, while they have also retained exciting midfielder Raymond Monama.

Mayebi is vastly experienced having played in France, Cyprus, Israel, Romania, England and the Faroe Islands and was in the Cameroon squad at the 2008 Olympics, along with Bloemfontein Celtic keeper Patrick Tignyemb.

“We have brought in Joslain who is a top quality keeper whose experience we believe will make a difference as we work our way towards promotion,” says Richard Makhoba, the Eagles general manager.

Staying put at the club is Monama who has agreed to a contract extension following the expiry of the deal that he signed last season.

Central defender Philani Cele has also been retained in a team that will feature Masibusane Zongo this season.

Former Black Leopards defender Humphrey Khoza has signed from Witbank Spurs.
