Managed by José Mourinho at Inter Milan as well as Chelsea, Samuel Eto’o is currently experiencing Turkish football playing for Antalyaspor after a brief stint at Sampdoria.

With seven goals and an assist to his name in nine league appearances for his new club, it is fair to say the Cameroonian superstar is enjoying himself in the SüperLig, where his team currently lie in 8th.

Speaking to RMC Sport in France, relayed by Le10 Sport, the player was asked about the possibilities of José Mourinho managing Paris Saint-Germain in the near future, a rumour that has been circulating over the past few days.

The striker said: “I don’t think this information is true. I can’t see Mourinho getting in touch with PSG. Mourinho can make any club win. He’s done it in the past and can do it again, but I don’t think he’ll leave Chelsea. “I think he can help his club get back on the right path and start accumulating some very good results.”

While Samuel Eto’o’s faith in his former manager is anything but exemplary, the Portuguese manager is under increased pressure to deliver after losing to West Ham 2-1 at the weekend.

Many reports across Europe suggest the next two games against Stoke and Liverpool will be of utmost importance for the manager’s future, as a loss in either of those could see Abramovich’s patience with the Special One quickly run out.
