Boumsong heads home for treatment

Enyimba’s Cameroonian, Raphael Boumsong has returned to his native Douala to receive treatment from injury.

The injury, has prevented Boumsong from blossoming at the Aba football club, since his arrival from El-Kanemi Warriors, where he finished as top scorer with nine goals and helped the club place fourth in 2013.

“I’m back in Douala receiving treatment and hope to be return in good time to conclude the season with Enyimba,” Boumsong said to supersport.com.

Boumsong, scored the goal that earned Enyimba, the ticket to the 2014 Federation Cup finals, but eventually missed the chance to be part of history during the Cup final against Dolphins.

Last year, he scored twice in the Federation Cup.

The bulky Cameroonian arrived Nigeria in 2013 from Chadian side, Gazelle.
