Cameroon regresses following Fifa February ranking

The Indomitable Lions following the Fifa February ranking have dropped three spots to 45th position.

Crashing out of the Nations Cup at the group stage certainly has had an influence on the current position of the Lions.

Finke’s squad came out of the competition with two points drawing 1-1 with Mali and Guinea and conceding a goal against Ivory Coast, in the just ended African Champions.

Algeria remains the best African football nation followed by Ivory Coast in the 18th and 20th positions respectively.

The biggest move has been Equatorial Guinea climbing up the ranking ladder 69 spots from 118 to the 49th position.
