Italians claim Eto’o signing

Italian media are claiming that Samuel Eto‘o has reached an agreement to sign for Sampdoria in Italy this afternoon.

Eto’o signed for Everton during the summer and has scored 3 goals in his 14 appearances, but is apparently ready to go back to Serie A in Italy with Sampdoria ready to seal the deal.

Losing the Cameroon international may not be the end of the world, and could indeed raise funds to bring in a wide player, but it has to also raise questions as to why he is about to end his association with Everton after just six months.
