African footballers are not treated with respect - Eto'o

In an interview with “Onze Mondial” Eto’o talked about the problems that African players were going through. He insisted that there’s a clear disparity in the area of disrespect when you compare how European or Brazilian players are being treated to Africans.

“I am sad to think that if I had been from Brazil or Europe, I would have earned more respect. The truth is that we, Africans, are not treated with respect.”

Eto’o also talked about his previous dreams that he always wished to play for a French team like Paris Saint Germain or Marseille. “I am a fan of Paris. I would have loved to play at the ‘Parc’, like many others. Congratulations to Zlatan, because he deserves it. And on top of that, he is making us happy as Paris’ fans".

“When I was younger, I had two dreams: to play for PSG and for Marseille. Isn’t it ironic? But the first stadium I saw in my life is the ‘Velodrome’.”
