West Ham: Alexandre Song ready to play

Away from football grounds for months due to an injury, Alexandre Song could play his first game of the season over the weekend against Chelsea, for the tenth day of Premier League of England.

The Cameroonian midfielder with West Ham "is ready to play" and with him, the Hammers could beat any team," said David Gold, the deputy head of the club on Twitter.

West Ham is indeed on a roll since the start of the 2015-2016 season. At the end of the 9 matches played in the league, the Hammers (17 points) occupied the fourth position in the standings and four behind leaders of Manchester City (21 points).

David Gold hopes the return of Alexandre Song will reap more good results as was the case when the Cameroonian integrated with the club last year from FC Barcelona. Despite a slowdown in the second half of the season, the leaders of Hammers decided to keep him because they are certainly convinced that the 28-year-old Cameroonian is able to still produce good results.
